Letter to the editor

In the past few months, as I have gotten to know Howard Hunt better, I have seen firsthand the passion, the drive, and the willingness Howard has to make this community a better place.
As current County Judge-Executive, the many accomplishments he has achieved in such a short period of time, speak to his passion and ability to get things done. Howard has built bridges, delivered a multi-million water and sewer upgrade to areas that were lacking, cut jail operational costs by partnering with Ephraim McDowell RMC, and worked with state legislators to reduce the 40% tax on vehicles. This letter would be a lot longer if I listed ALL his accomplishments! Currently, he is expanding high speed broadband to underserved parts of the county.
It is obvious by watching Howard, why his military career was stellar – achieving the rank of USAF Brigadier General and commanding a large force. While it is common for many who achieve great success to justifiably rest on their laurels – Howard does not. He is not yet finished with public service! He has a servant’s heart and truly wants to be of meaningful service to his community and make a difference in the lives of Boyle Countians.
We are lucky to have a man of his ability and energy who is willing to put his talents to work for us. I am gratefully and without hesitation casting my vote for Howard Hunt for Judge Executive.
