Jan St. Pierre, 77, of Danville, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Ephraim McDowell Medical Center in Danville. She was born on April 2, 1945 in Chester, Pennsylvania to the late Harold and Delphia Fletcher House. Jan worked in the Registrar office at Centre College for over 38 years and was a devoted Hospice volunteer since 2009. She loved to read, play board games, baking, and distributing Christmas treats to others during the holiday season. Her giving heart and warm personality will be truly missed. Jan is survived by an aunt, Kathy Luttrell of Danville and numerous friends. Funeral services will be held 1pm Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Pastor Ruford Abner, Renee Bibler, Janelle Wheeler and Wendy Hellard officiating . Burial will follow at Parksville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am until service time. Pallbearers are Mike Perros, Jeff Peel, Dennis Spinks, Matt Spinks, Watson Cooper and David Ford. Honorary pallbearers are Thomas Manuel, Jim Osborne, Charlie Hall and James Atkins. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to Heritage Hospice Volunteer Department.
