DHS closed Friday for All “A” tournament

The Danville High School girls basketball team won against Portland Christian in the All “A” State Tournament on Wednesday. There will be no school for Danville High School on Friday, Jan. 27, as the girls play against Pikeville in the second round of the tournament at 10 a.m. This just applies to DHS. If students from the other schools in the Danville Independent School District show a valid ticket for the girls’ game Friday, they will be excused from school, since the game takes place during the school day.
