Human remains found in a field in Boyle County have been identified as 49-year-old woman from Perryville.

Kentucky State Police said the skeletal remains found off Craintown Road Jan. 20 were identified by the state medical examiner’s office as those of Anna M. Cummins.

Police say Cummins’ family didn’t report her missing to law enforcement, and as a result the case is being treated as a homicide, according to KSP.
