Mr. William “Bill” Kriener, 71, Tybee Island, Georgia, died Thursday, January 26, 2023. He was born May 24, 1951, in Danville, Kentucky, the son of the late Harlan and Ruth Tamme Kriener. A 1969 graduate of Danville High School, he also graduated in 1973 from the University of Kentucky with a business degree – an emphasis on marketing. Bill worked for the Department of Transportation in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Georgia from where he retired. He also loved antiques and the hunt for his next treasure.
Survivors include his wife, Marcia Kirkland Kriener of Tybee Island; sister, Ruth Ann (Doug) Donaldson of Southport, NC; brother, John (Carol) Kriener of Elon, NC; sister-in-law, Susan Kirkland (Mike) Higdon, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00, Friday, February 17, 2023, at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City, the family will receive friends following the service. A private burial will be held in Bellevue Cemetery. Online guestbook available at www.stithcares.com
