About 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 25, Danville Police responded to a residence on W. Erskine Drive regarding a call about a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival contact was made with the victim. A male subject had arrived at the elderly female’s home wearing a mask over his face.

Initially the victim believed it may be her grandson. After determining she did not recognize the man, he stepped into her home. Once inside the male pulled down his face covering. The victim recognized him as former acquaintance Frederick Falor, 64, of Danville.

Falor told the victim he wanted the keys to her car. Falor stayed inside the home for almost an hour, frightened and under duress the victim turned over her keys and Falor left in the victim’s 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass.

At 10:52 p.m. the same evening, police received a call of a burglary in progress at a home on Sycamore Street. The reporting party believed the suspect was Falor. Falor is believed to have broken the front window of the home.

While enroute to the scene officers observed the stolen vehicle in the parking lot of Speedway. Falor, who police later determined was under the influence, was inside the vehicle and was taken into custody without incident.

It was learned that Falor is a respondent in an active protection order with a resident of the home on Sycamore Street.

Falor was arrested and transported to the Boyle County Detention Center and lodged on the following charges: Burglary 2nd Degree, Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence 4th Offense, Theft of Auto, Driving on a DUI Suspended License, Failure to Surrender a Revoked Operators License, and Violation of a Kentucky EPO.
