Trees down and power outages reported all over Boyle County due to high winds

The Boyle County Fiscal Court announced that multiple trees are down and power outages have been reported throughout the county due to extreme winds, which will continue through the evening until at least midnight.
Judge Executive Trille Bottom warns people to stay inside, and use extreme caution if you have to be out on the roads. Some roads are blocked and impassable. Road crews are out and clearing roads as fast as possible but the wind is a major hindrance.
The power is out on Main Street in downtown Danville, and on some sections of East Main.
Traffic lights on Main Street in Danville are out. Traffic lights are also out at intersections of Hwy 127 & 2168, and intersection of 150 By-pass and Gose Pike. Update on March 4 at noon: One traffic light is still out on Main Street.
Bottom said trees are down on Ward’s Branch Road, Reynolds Hollow Road, Scrubgrass Road, and others.
Power outages have been reported in Old Bridge Subdivision on Kings Ridge Road and in Bluegrass Estates, in Parksville by the Water District, and many other places.
In the Bluegrass neighborhood, a roof blew off a building and hit a power pole with a transformer. Bottom said a barn was blown over in Perryville.

Inter-County Energy gave an Outage Update at 8:25 PM:
As of now, we have over 10,000 members without power due to the extreme high winds that continues to move through our area. Boyle County has 794 customers without power and Lincoln County is at 2,391.
Our crews are working to restore power as quickly as possible given the current weather conditions. Safety is our number one priority while restoration efforts continue. Crews will work into the night on restoration efforts. As always, please stay away from any downed power lines.
Currently there is no estimated time frame for repairs. If you are medically fragile and require special equipment, you should consider relocating or contacting 911 for assistance.
