Disturbance in Mitchellsburg leads to arrest

Deputies with the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence off of Lebanon Road just before Mitchellsburg in reference to a disturbance in progress on March 16. Prior to arrival, Danville Dispatch obtained information that Ricky Camden was inside the residence armed with a handgun. The caller said Camden was upset and had stated that he was going to kill someone and himself.

Deputies arrived on scene and immediately detained two subjects outside the residence. Deputies retrieved the firearm. They learned that Camden is a convicted felon and was in possession of the firearm. Camden also had an active DVO (domestic violence order). Deputies located two other firearms and learned that one of the firearms was reported stolen. The case is still under investigation.

Arrested was Ricky Camden Jr. of Parksville. Camden was charged with:
