Pebble Fields, 78, of Danville, Kentucky, formerly of Ashland, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 following a sudden illness.

She was born on March 23, 1944, in Letcher County, Kentucky to the late Emmitt and Oma Thomas Kiser. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, William J. “Bill”; a sister, Cora Kiser; and brothers, A.C. Kiser, Randall Kiser, Rex Kiser and Paul Kiser.

Pebble was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Ashland. After moving to Danville, she enjoyed attending Calvary Baptist with her family. A successful small business owner, she owned and operated Pebble’s Furniture Store and was a licensed beautician for many years. She was a King’s Daughters Medical Center volunteer and enjoyed working and nurturing many friendships at A Boutique. Family was most important to Pebble. She was a fantastic wife and mother and adored her grandchildren. She had a kind, generous spirit and would make countless sacrifices for the benefit of her family.

She is survived by three sons, Brad Fields and wife Julie of Danville, KY, Jason Fields of Morehead, KY and Michael Fields of Louisville, KY; sisters, Betty Fields of Tazewell, TN, Sharon Hampton of Williamsburg, KY, and Judy Adams of Whitesburg, KY; brothers, Jeff Kiser of Virginia; and Don Kiser of Alabama; three granddaughters, Maddie Fields, Emma Fields and Katelyn Fields of Danville.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 27, 2023, at STEEN FUNERAL HOME CENTRAL AVENUE CHAPEL with Rev. Brent Rowe officiating. Burial will follow in Ashland Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time Monday, at the funeral home.
