Woman arrested on seven counts of drug trafficking

Deputies with the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office conducted a narcotic’s investigation that started in Boyle County. It led to a residence in the St. Mary community of Marion County on March 29, directly beside the Marion County Middle School.

Throughout the investigation, enough evidence was obtained for a search warrant. During the execution of the search warrant, deputies located an approximate ½ LB of methamphetamine, over $17,000 in cash, quantities of crack/cocaine, heroin, pills, marijuana, scales, numerous guns, and other drug paraphernalia items. There was a juvenile on scene.

The Boyle County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Jeri Jo Bright, 34, of Lebanon, KY was arrested and lodged in the Marion County Detention Center. She was charged with the following:

• Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)

• Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Cocaine)

• Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Heroin)

• Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (10 D.U. Drug Unspecified)

• Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (10 D.U. Date Rape Drug)

• Trafficking in a Controlled Substance within 1,000 feet of a school

• Trafficking in Marijuana (Less than 8oz) 2nd Offense

• Unlawful Transaction with a Minor

• Endangering the Welfare of a Minor
