Spring sports begin winding down as postseason nears

Postseason schedules are largely set for area spring sports teams.
Postseason play begins the week of May 15 for baseball, softball and tennis teams, and track and field regionals will be held the following week.
The 45th District baseball and softball tournaments are scheduled, while schedules for tournaments in the 46th and 47th Districts have not been announced.
The 12th Region tennis tournament will be held the week of May 15 at various locations in Danville.
Boyle County and Mason County will host track and field regionals that include area teams.
