Wilderness Trail Distillery recently held the third annual Corvette Cruise In with special bourbon tastings, food trucks, live music from Michael Hughes and The Sounds, and of course, plenty of Corvettes.

“We work closely with the Bluegrass Corvette Club,” said Brand Marketing Director Emily Toadvine. “They have a good contingency here, there are a lot of people from Stanford here. We have a few people here who build race cars, people who do detailing. It is a nice opportunity for Corvette owners to get together. There are 17 clubs in Kentucky, so it as a good opportunity for them to meet and greet.”

In attendance for the event on May 13 was distillery co-founder Shane Baker’s mother Linda Baker with her Corvette.

“We have a group that we ride with and go wherever,” said Baker. “We had an ’80 Corvette for years and years and I have a ’16. I like Corvettes, and like to ride and burn some rubber. After my husband passed away, people asked if I was going to sell my Corvette, and I told them ‘no way.’ I don’t take it out much, but I do like to get out some.”
