Summer Singers will start its 38th season on Monday, June 5 at 7 p.m. in the Audrey Gillespie Hall on the lowest floor of the Norton Center for the Arts. All singers, high school age and older, are welcome without audition.

A membership fee of $45 per singer, or $70 for two from the same family, helps to offset costs. The group will rehearse every Monday through July and present a concert on August 1 featuring 4 movements of the “Requiem” by John Rutter with soloist Lydia Graham, a Danville native and graduate of The Julliard School.

Conductor Barbara Hall will also be offering a 4-session class called “Choral Basics” that will meet on the first 4 Thursdays of June.  For more information about the choir or the class, please contact Barbara Hall at barbara.hall@centre.edu.
