Pet of the Week

Our Pet of the Week is Link, a handsome and well-mannered 2-year-old mixed breed who is as charming as he is calm. With his big smile and bright eyes, Link’s good looks will surely catch your eye, but his quiet and easygoing temperament will win your heart.
He took a two-week vacation with a foster family, and here’s what they had to say about Link’s time with them.
Link is the epitome of a well-behaved companion. He’s fully housebroken and an absolute dream on a leash, making walks an enjoyable experience for both of you. With a medium energy level, Link strikes the perfect balance between enjoying outdoor adventures and relaxing at home. When he’s not out on a walk, he’s content to lay around and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Speaking of peace and quiet, Link is fearful of dogs, so he requests that he be the center of your attention with no other pets to distract you. Trust us: he’s got more than enough love for any family!
If you’re seeking a loyal, relaxed friend who’s just as happy to lounge as he is to explore, Link is the perfect match. His calm nature makes him an ideal companion for anyone looking for a low-maintenance, loving, companion.
Link is fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to be your best friend!
Meet him at DBCHS between 1-5 pm Monday and Tuesday, Noon-5 Wednesday, 11-7 on Thursday, Noon-4 Friday, and 10-3 Saturday. Apply now: dbchs.org/adopt. We hope to see you soon!
