BOYLE COUNTY
Coach: Eric Kenoyer
2023 record: 25-14 (45th District champion, 12th Region semifinalist)

Outlook: Boyle will be a younger team as it bids for a third consecutive district championship. The Lady Rebels will be led by four seniors, including one of the region’s top players in Christopher as well as Grubb, Smith and Teague. However, there are also 13 underclassmen on the 24-person roster, evidence that the work to improve Boyle’s middle school program is starting to bear fruit.

Haberek said they will be more aggressive at the net with Smith, senior Alayna Bodner and junior Emerson Lynn. Foster and senior Sara Dunn will set, and senior Emily Jeffries takes over at libero.
Sophomores MaKenna Ames and Julie Wood and freshmen Lynzie Day will also contribute.
Coach’s comments: “We have some players returning from last year’s rotation that will help to increase our offense and defense on our front row. We lost a few players last year that had been mainstays in their positions, but have had some seniors stepping up in a big way.”
