Two arrested on trafficking charges after found in stolen vehicle

Two were arrested in Danville on several counts of drug trafficking after being found in a stolen vehicle on August 12.

Danville Police were notified of a stolen vehicle in the city limits by Flock Safety Cameras on Monday, August 12, just before 5 p.m. Officers located the stolen 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and conducted a traffic stop.

During the stop officers located methamphetamine, heroin, and a .38 special revolver.  The vehicle had been stolen out of Louisville.

The operator of the stolen vehicle, Kevin Adams, 47, of Manchester, Kentucky was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property (between $1,000 and $10,000), trafficking a controlled substance (methamphetamine), trafficking a controlled substance (heroin), and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The 42-year-old passenger, Sherry Davis, of Eubank, Kentucky was also charged with trafficking a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and trafficking a controlled substance (heroin).
