On Saturday, Sept. 7, Devine’s Tire and Auto in Perryville celebrated its grand opening with a cookout, giveaways, and a ribbon cutting.

The shop offers a complete line of vehicle maintenance services and repairs. It will continue to expand its services to include tire mounting and alignment for standard and off-road tire sizes, as well as a mobile shop for repairs, maintenance, and tire services for tractors and farm equipment.

“We were established this year after my son Tyler Devine graduated with his mechanic’s degree,” said Jenni Devine. “We wanted to be able to go out and help the farmers. It is something that was needed in the community.”

Perryville has been without a mechanic since Whitehouse Auto Parts and Tires was destroyed by a fire in 2018.

“It was necessary in the area. Not only are we doing this for our dreams, but it was a need in the community,” Jenni Devine said. “We offer to pick up and drop off maintenance for Ephriam McDowell employees. We can service their vehicles while they are working to save them time. We love this community; we all join together and support each other.”

Main Street Perryville Direct Aly Huff hopes the shop can help other businesses downtown.

“We are so thankful for this great family and their investment in our community,” Huff said.
