Ophelia Frost, 81, of Whitley County, KY, formerly of Garrard County, passed away Friday, September 13, 2024 at Hillcrest Nursing & Rehab in Corbin, KY. She was born in Scott County on June 20, 1943 to the late Otis and Ethel Carrier. Surviving is a son, Bob Frost (Judith) of Williamsburg; a daughter P.J. Moore (Timmy) of Georgia; three grandchildren, Robert Frost III, Christopher Moore (Lauren), and Scott Moore (Amelia); three great grandchildren, Nathan, Gavin, and Rylee Moore; and two brothers, Bobby Carrier and Phillip Carrier. Ophelia was preceded in death by three brothers, Shelby Carrier, Donald Carrier, and George Carrier. A graveside service was held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday September 18, 2024 at Lancaster Cemetery.
