Gloria Jean Janks, 83, of Shepherdsville, formerly of Danville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully October 23, 2024, and will be so very missed.

She was a native of Michigan and the former co-owner Prompt Printing in Danville, Kentucky.

Gloria exemplified a life lived with grace, humor, joy and gratefulness. Her love for family and friends will live on in those privileged to have known her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hank Janks; parents, William and Mary A. King ; siblings, Joyce Perron, Jim and Bob King.

She is survived by her children, Connie Rose (Rob) and Tim Kulig; daughter-in-law, Leslie Kulig; sister, Wanda Carroll; grandchildren, Ashley Rose (Allan Barch), Lindsey Rose (Shaun Tarkington), Nathan Rose (Jessica) , Tabitha Kulig, Aarin Maevry (Deandra) , Cassie Kulig (Owen Proteau) and Carlee Kulig ; great grandchildren, Matilda and August Barch , Garren and Farrah Clardy.

Her celebration of life will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Schmid Funeral Home in Mt. Washington with cremation to follow. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the celebration of life.
