The people have spoken and this how the voters of Boyle County cast their ballots.

Danville City Commission

Jennie Hollon led the race with 3,590 votes, capturing 22% of the total. Donna Peek followed closely with 3,484 votes, amounting to 22% as well. Kevin Caudill secured the third spot with 3,340 votes, taking 21%. Rick Serres captured 2,808 votes for 18% of the electorate.

Junction City Council

Brittany Coffman topped the Junction City Council race with 161 votes, or 20% of the total. Bill McCowan came in second with 110 votes, 13% of the total, and David Stevens followed with 104 votes, also 13%. Mary Hurst followed with 93 votes (11%). Jackie Antle and Vickie Bowling finished with 91 votes apiece which was also good for 11% of the vote.

Perryville City Council

Ashley Mills Edwards led the Perryville City Council race, securing 122 votes, which translated to 18% of the total. Sue C. Reed came in second with 104 votes, or 16%, while Rita Bailey finished third with 91 votes, taking 14%. Chastity Caldwell finished fourth with 80 votes (12%). Steve Bailey finished with 79 votes (12%) and Tim Simpson finished with 78 votes (12%).

Board of Education, 1st Educational District

Stephen T. Tamme received 1,032 votes, capturing 100% of the total in the uncontested race for the 1st Educational District.

Board of Education, 4th Educational District

Jennifer Gilbert Newby secured 1,043 votes, taking 100% of the total in the uncontested race for the 4th Educational District.

Board of Education, Danville Independent School District

Steve Becker narrowly won with 2,925 votes, amounting to 51%. Leigh Ranson followed closely with 2,848 votes, receiving 49%.

State Representative, 54th District

Daniel B. Elliott received 10,754 votes, capturing 100% in an uncontested race for the 54th District.

Constitutional Amendments

Voters approved Constitutional Amendment 1, with 61% voting “Yes” (8,304 votes) and 39% voting “No” (5,325 votes). Amendment 2 did not pass, with 68% voting “No” (9,689 votes) and 32% voting “Yes” (4,493 votes).

Presidential race

In the presidential race, Donald J. Trump and J.D. Vance led with 64% of the vote (9,159 votes). Kamala D. Harris and Tim Walz followed with 35% (4,990 votes), while Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Nicole Shanahan received 1% (121 votes).

U.S. Representative, 1st Congressional District

James R. Comer won the race for U.S. Representative with 9,457 votes, receiving 67%. Erin Marshall came in second with 4,745 votes, capturing 33%.
