Steven “Mike” Abrams, 61, of Junction City, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. He was born in Harrodsburg on August 18, 1963 to the late Collos and Violet Abrams. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Robinson Abrams. Mike was a proud Boyle County High School graduate and a member of the Boyle County Hall of Fame. After high school, he joined the Stat Crew for football, where he remained still to this day. He was an all around athlete, excelling in football and all sports, such as softball and bowling. Mike loved to hunt and raised and bred beagles. He will be dearly missed by his family and his many friends. To know him, was to love him. In addition to his wife, Mike is survived by a son, Landon Abrams of Junction City; a daughter, Jessica Brewer of Danville; a brother, Mitch Abrams (Jill) of Hendersonville, TN; a sister, Pam Kendall (Eddie) of Danville; brother-in-law, Steve Robinson of Miami, Florida; three grandchildren, Ellyssa, Emily and Chase Gordon; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10AM on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Fr. Danny Schwendeman and Hunter Abrams officiating. Burial will follow at Junction City Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 5-9PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to Boyle County Quarterback Club, In Memory of Mike Abrams.
