Sara Martina (Tina) Allen

1956-2019

Sara Martina (Tina) Allen, 63, of Perryville passed away August 17, 2019. Tina was born March 6, 1956 in Lebanon, Kentucky to Alice Hourigan Allen and the late Joseph Robert Allen.

She is survived by her mother Alice Hourigan Allen Chambers; two sons, David Ryan Norvell and Joseph Isiah (Seph) Allen; two grandsons Austin Hunter Norvell and Brayden Tyler Allen; and granddaughter Alaina Jade Allen; two brothers, Robert Barnett Allen (Louise) and George Dennis Allen (Patsy); and two sisters, Alicia Jane Lawson and Leona Chambers Royalty-Berg (Ed).

Tina was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Robert Allen; stepmother, Hazel Phillips Allen; stepfather, Paul Neal Chambers; and two sisters, Vicki Ann Chambers and Debbie Sue Burton.

Tina is a graduate of Waggener High School, Louisville, and Morehead State University. As a registered nurse, she enjoyed her work in the medical field, especially working with the elderly. She had many hobbies including reading, swimming, flower gardening, painting, refinishing furniture and writing, but she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was an animal lover who frequently adopted those animals that had been orphaned.

A donation may be made to the Humane Society in her name.
