Rebecca Bouse Dalton

1954-2016

Becky died on Aug. 21, 2016, in Charleston, South Carolina.

Becky was born in Louisville, Kentucky on Dec. 2, 1954 to Robert Mitchell Bouse and Doris Bouse Trautwein. She attended Jennie Rogers Elementary School and graduated from Danville High School in 1972. She received her B.S. degree in nursing and worked as a surgical nurse at Duke Hospital in Durham, North Carolina and was a nurse at Roper Hospital in Charleston, S.C.

Nursing was her profession but gardening was her passion. She was a Master Gardner and past president of the St. Paul Parish Garden Club of South Carolina.

She was devoted to and is survived by her loving husband, Dr. David Dalton; innumerable friends and family consisting of Robert and Beverly Bouse, Richmond Va., Richard and Doris Trautwein, Louisville, Ky.; and her sister and brother-in-law, Robin and Henry Titzler and their children Arley and Koh, of Los Angles, California.

When Becky lived in Danville, she was active in Girl Scouts, Riding Club, Mrs. Cooper’s Dance Group, and was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
