FORT LOGAN AUXILIARY

STANFORD — Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital Auxiliary is sponsoring a Safety Day event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Veterans Park Softball Complex, 400 U.S. 150, Stanford. The event is free and open to the public.

The event will showcase emergency services in the Lincoln County community and offer children and adults the opportunity to see and touch various pieces of emergency equipment; talk with first responders; and connect with other agencies in the area that are concerned with protecting the safety of Lincoln Countians.

Participating agencies include Stanford City Fire, Lincoln County Volunteer Fire Department, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Lincoln County Jail, Stanford City Police, Air Evac Lifeteam, Kentucky State Police, Safer Communities, RECC, Stanford EMS, Lincoln County Extension Office, Farm Bureau Federation, Lincoln County Health Department and many others. Agencies will have displays as well as hands-on activities for all ages.

The Auxiliary will also be selling hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, drinks, and candy items from11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
