1933-2016
Elizabeth Douglas Moser, 83, of Danville, passed away Sunday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born June 11, 1933, in Danville, Kentucky to the late Josh and Emma Grider Douglas.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Ira Thomas Moser. She was a homemaker and an active member of Centenary United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Randy Moser (Julie) and Barry Moser (Janet) both of Danville; two brothers, Richard “Dick” Douglas of Danville and Josh Douglas Jr. of Hustonville; four grandchildren, Matthew Moser (Tayler) of Minot, North Dakota, Holly Moser, Erin Moser, and Maggie Moser, all of Danville; and a great-grandchild, Ryan Moser.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Darlene Moser; a sister, Virginia Carmickle; and a brother, Ansel Douglas.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Sept. 22, 2016, at Centenary United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Mike Voigts, Bro. Gary Douglas, and Rev. Betty Ann Lampkin-McMillen officiating. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, from 5-8 p.m. at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Matthew Moser, Gary Douglas, Danny Douglas, Adam Douglas, Tom White, and Joshua Lampkin. Honorary pallbearers are Holly, Erin and Maggie Moser and Jim Chew.
