Garrard County grand jury indicts four

A Garrard County grand jury indicted the following people on Sept. 16:

• Michael Smith, 50, 334 Paint Lick Road, Paint Lick: cultivation of five or more marijuana plants for allegedly having cultivated 28 marijuana plants. A summons was issued. Kentucky State Police Detective Botkin testified.

• Tina Crouch, 35, 1981 Old Paris Road, Lexington: operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs; first-degree wanton endangerment; first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine); possession of marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $10,000 cash. Boyle County Deputy Keith Addison testified.

• Alana West, 25, 104 Cardinal Dr., Lancaster: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (heroin) for allegedly selling less than 2 grams of heroin to a police witness. Bail was set at $10,000 cash. Addison testified.

• Stevie Ray Saylor Jr., 32, 2967 Lambert Road, Berea: first-degree assault; and first-degree robbery. Bail was set at $100,000 cash. Kentucky State Police Detective Frank Thornberry testified.
