1956-2016
Harold Wayne Lovin, 60, of Moreland, died Oct. 1, 2016, at home surrounded by his family. Born Aug. 19, 1956, to Lola Baker Damrell of Nicholasville and the late Harold Lovin. Wayne was a truck driver and meat cutter for many years but most of all loved his family, his truck and his dog, Bridgette.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Tammy Lovin; two sons, Dustin Toombs of Moreland and David Lovin of Nicholasville; four daughters, Jamie Estes Blair of Richmond, Christy Fightmaster of Georgetown, Amanda Means of Lexington, and Sarah Saunders of Lexington; two sisters Linda (Calvin) Smith of Pleasant Plain, Ohio and Betty (Todd Hawkins) Bell of Salvisa; three brothers, Larry (Karen) Lovin of Milford, Ohio, Clyde Lovin of Dayton, Ohio, and Bobby Damrell of Nicholasville; 12 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City with Rev. Henry Anness and Rev. Larry Moore. Pallbearers will be Dustin Toombs, Chris Stratton, Dylan Castle, Kevin Smith, Jackie Lamb, and Austin Egolf. Burial will be in Junction City Cemetery.
