Danville commissioners Atkins and Caudill should be re-elected

Dear Editor,
This year the five candidates for Danville City Commission are all of good quality. With four seats available, unfortunately one candidate will not be able to serve.
James Atkins and Kevin Caudill are the candidates with the most years of experience on the commission. For many years both of these candidates have served our community with dignity, honor and high distinction.
Their service facts that have continually been observed are:
• They have excellent knowledge of the City of Danville and issues brought to the commission.
• They always do their “homework” of study and research on meeting agendas before voting.
• They demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills in working with the Danville citizens and city employees.
I strongly encourage you to vote for James Atkins and Kevin Caudill because they are very valuable to our city and need to be in the “game” and not on the “sidelines.”
Paul Smiley
