I would vote for Hillary Clinton because she wants to make college cheap. College debt is smothering students. Clinton supports making four-year in-state colleges and universities tuition-free. This means students will have more money for other college expenses such as food, transportation, books, supplies, housing, and other personal expenses.

Clinton plans on doing this by passing the New College Compact. This will require everyone to do his or her part by holding colleges and universities accountable for providing the educational tools students need and keeping costs at a minimum. Under Clinton’s plan students are expected to complete 10 hours of work a week to help pay off the full cost of attendance.

I have a year until I’m going to college, and I don’t want to leave college drowning in debt. Clinton’s plan is looking out for people like me. If I had the chance to vote in this election, my vote would go to Clinton.
