Sunday singing at Alum Springs

The Alum Springs First Church of God will be hosting a 5th Sunday Singing at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 30 with Jeffrey Sparks and family. Everyone is invited to attend.

Worship concert Sunday

Lexington Avenue Baptist Church is having a music worship concert at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, at the church, 339 West Lexington Ave., featuring a choir, quartets, soloists and more. A reception will follow the performance and no offering will be taken.

Girl Scouts registration meetings

Girl Scouts of Kentucky Wilderness Road Council is holding two parent Information meetings in Boyle County to register girls ages 5-18 to participate in Girl Scouts for the 2016-2017 membership year.

• Danville Independent Schools: 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, at Centenary Methodist Church, 1441 Perryville Road.

• Boyle County Schools: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Boyle County Public Library, 307 West Broadway.
