Dear Editor,

I am writing to encourage the citizens of Danville to re-elect Mr. James (JH) Atkins to the Danville City Commission.

Atkins has served the people of Danville well in his previous terms and I believe he will continue to do so. He encourages all citizens to participate in our city government by contacting him when they have concerns or questions about issues in Danville.

He is a good listener and wants to see our city continue to improve and grow. Atkins describes himself as “a public servant, not a politician.” I believe re-electing James (JH) Atkins to the City Commission will help to ensure that the positive atmosphere at city hall continues.

Please vote on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
