Dear Editor,

Having known and worked with James Atkins for many years in education and knowing how committed he is to our community, I am proud to support his re-election to the Danville City Commission, along with Caudill, Serres, and Terry. All four have worked well together on behalf of our city and deserve a chance to continue what they have started.

I am also pleased to  support Lori Thompson Finke, a Danville graduate, for Danville School Board. Lori was a strong student academically, involved in activities, and well respected by her peers and teachers. As a professional and mother with young children in the system, Lori will be an asset to the board. She will be open, hard-working and dedicated to serving ALL students.

Please join me in re-electing the four present city commissioners on Nov. 8 and elect Lori Thompson Finke to the Danville School Board.
