Terry provides diversity on Danville commission

Dear Editor,

I write this letter in support of Denise Terry for city commissioner. Before being elected commissioner two years ago, Denise regularly attended commission meetings so that she knew the issues as she took office. She was well-prepared to serve her community.

Denise is a life long Boyle Countian and is the only woman on the commission. Younger than the other commissioners, Denise has encouraged new voices on various boards and panels. The diversity of being female and younger is positive diversification as she offers her unique insight.

Denise was one of the voices during the last commission to question spending on the Weisiger Park update. This reconsideration eventually saved $100,000.

Denise has been a strong proponent of code enforcement.

A conscientious commissioner, Denise has regularly attended trainings and educational programs to strengthen her skills.

Please join me in support of Denise Terry for city commissioner.
