Beginner Yoga Class — 7 p.m. Tuesdays at the Garrard County Extension Service office. The class is an hour long and on-going. Caregivers Coffee Club — beginning 10 a.m. Tuesday (third Tuesday each month) at the Danville-Boyle County Senior Citizens. Will meet monthly at 569 Jean Drive. The new group was formed in response to the growing need for support for local caregivers. All caregivers are welcome to attend, meet others and share thoughts on how the community can be more supportive. The Senior Citizen’s Adult Day Care offers care for family members who require it to enable caregivers to attend the Caregivers get-togethers. Lewy Body Dementia Caregiver Support Group of the Bluegrass — 6-8 p.m. first Tuesday each month at Sayre Christian Village, at Belleau Wood Drive and Camelot off Man-o-War in Lexington. Lewy Body Dementia is frequently misdiagnosed as Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s Disease. Most patients receive three or more other diagnosis before being diagnosed with LBD.
