He was the husband of Peggy Ann (Shelton) Martin.

Lonnie retired after working 30 years from the W.T. Young Storage Company. He also owned and operated his own saw mill. Lonnie was a member of the Watts Chapel Baptist Church. He enjoyed dirt track and go-kart racing.

Survivors Include wife, Peggy Ann Martin of Crab Orchard; son, Lowell Wayne Martin of Crab Orchard; son, Keith Lee Martin of Crab Orchard; daughter, Carla Denise Martin and husband Terry Allen of Stanford; sister, Betty Joyce Martin of Crab Orchard; brother, John Martin of Crab Orchard; brother, William Earl Martin of Crab Orchard; five grandchildren: Sheldon Wayne Smith, Nelson Grant Martin, Kelsey Lynn Martin, Waylon Martin and Osha Carmen; one great grandson, Riley Douglas.

Funeral services 2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 15th at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dan Gutenson officiating.

Burial will be in the King Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 14, 2016 at McKnight Funeral Home.
