Thanks for your prayers, your support, and your votes during the 2016 campaign and election. A “special thank you” to the Committee to Elect James “J.H.” Atkins — your diligence and commitment to our efforts were outstanding!

Thanks for re-electing me as a member of the Danville City Commission and thanks for giving me the opportunity to continue to serve our great community.

The results on Election Day were exciting. However, the entire election process served to remind me to remain both humble and honored. I will continue to be a public servant, not a politician. I look forward to continuing to work with our mayor and our commissioners for the betterment of our community.
