Joshua Duncan

1975-2016

Joshua Patrick Duncan, 41, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, at his home surrounded by loved ones. Born Saturday, Sept. 13, 1975, in Danville, he was the son of Roger and Lois Pingleton Duncan. He was a member of Hyattsville Baptist Church.

Survivors other than his parents include sisters, Jennifer (Doug) Lamb, and Page (Sean) Smith all of Lancaster; nieces, Emily (Trey) Perkins and Claire Grecco; step-nieces, Laura and Blair Lamb; nephews, Ethan and Evan Smith, and Cole and Carson Grecco; step-nephew, Murphy Lamb; great-nieces and nephews, Ellasyn, Carrigan, Leighton, and Jaxon Perkins.

Funeral services for Josh will be 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016 at Garrard County Middle School, with Revs. Gary Durham, Everett Priddy, and Mike Crain officiating.

Pallbearers include Ethan and Evan Smith, Cole and Carson Grecco, Trey and Jaxon Perkins, and Murphy Lamb. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at Garrard County High School, and 11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016 until service time at Garrard County Middle School. Burial will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, at Lancaster Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may go to the Garrard County Food Pantry, the Garrard County Ministerial Association, or any other local charity of choice.
