Liberty man injured in Ky. 70 wreck

LIBERTY — A Liberty man was injured in a two-vehicle collision along Ky. 70 in Casey County Thursday.
Jonathan D. Brown, 36, was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries following the wreck, which occurred about 4:10 p.m., according to Kentucky State Police.
Pamela S. Howard, 62, of Greensburg was traveling west when she attempted a left-hand turn at the intersection of Ky. 70 and Ky. 206, according to a news release from KSP.
Howard turned into the path of an eastbound Ford van driven by Brown, according to the release. Howard was not injured in the wreck.
Both Howard and Brown were wearing seat belts. Trooper Chase Willis is the investigating officer. Additional Kentucky State Police members, the Casey County Sheriff’s Office, Casey County Fire Department, Casey County EMS and Casey County Rescue assisted at the scene.
