1939-2016
Terry N. Loveless, 77, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016. Terry was born in Somerset, Ky. on Sept. 4, 1939, to the late Kit Hamlin and Iva Christine Pence Loveless.
Terry proudly served our country in the U.S. Army, and he was signal crewman for Southern Railroad.
Terry earned his degree in electrical engineering at Dabney S. Lancaster Clifton Forge Community College. He had a few hobbies including restoring tube radios and restoring boats. He was a ham radio operator, and he loved fishing.
He was baptized as a young boy and was a member of Langdon Street Baptist Church.
Terry is survived by his son, Bruce Wayne Loveless of Lexington; daughter, Vicki Stanley of Somerset; brother Patrick Bruce Loveless of North Charleston, S.C.; sister Diana Loveless Lykins of Danville; grandchildren, Teresa Renee Pemberton of Lexington, Jennie Elizabeth Stanley and Rebecca Ann Stanley, both of Somerset, Sydney Michele Loveless and Conner Drake Loveless, both of St. Simmons Island, Ga.; and two great-grandchildren, Hayden Allen Vaught of Somerset and Caleb Pemberton of Lexington.
Visitation for Terry Loveless was after 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016, at Somerset Undertaking. A celebration honoring the life of Terry Loveless was held Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Somerset Undertaking with the Rev. Joe Altman officiating.
Internment followed at Mill Springs National Cemetery with honors by the American Legion Post #38. You may leave online condolences at www.somersetundertaking.com. Somerset Undertaking Co. was in charge of arrangements.
