This week at the Boyle County Public Library

The Boyle County Public Library offers many fun, educational events throughout the year. Weekly programs include Crafters Who Care 6 p.m. Mondays, Coding Club 4 p.m. Wednesdays and Open Chess 4 p.m. Thursdays.
In addition to these weekly events, the following library-sponsored programs are scheduled for this week:
• DIY Holiday Gifts for Teens:
The library will host a gift making working for teens (ages 13-18) 2-4 p.m. Monday.
Teens will be able to make a variety of ornaments and crafts to give as gifts to friends and family. There will be a gift-wrapping station as well.
Registration is required. This event will be held in the Community Room.
• Tween Advisory Group (TAG): Tween Advisory Group will meet o4 p.m. Monday. TAG provides a way for tweens (ages 9-13) to have fun while volunteering their time at the Library.
This month TAG will be watching a popular holiday movie while making Christmas cards for senior citizens. Call the library to register for this event.
• Santa Claus to Visit the library: Santa Claus will be visiting the Boyle County Public Library during regularly scheduled Toddler, Preschool, and Homeschool Storytimes on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Toddlers are 10 a.m. Tuesdays; preschoolers 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays; homeschoolers at 11:15 a.m.

• Holiday closure: The library will be closed Dec. 24-26, for the Christmas holiday. The library will also be closing early at 4 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and will be closed on New Year’s Day.
