Billy enjoyed fishing, fishing and fishing. He loved to cook and watch TV. He was of the Baptist faith.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Jane Sterno, Connie Reynolds and Shirley Georgoudis; and his brother Terry Ponsell.
