Julia Maxine Taylor

1945-2017

Julia Maxine Taylor, 71, wife of William “Billy” Taylor, died Saturday. Born Dec. 2, 1945, in Mercer Co., she was the daughter of the late Granville Elmore and Gladys E. Crossfield Dean. 

Other survivors include Todd (Tammy) Taylor, and Travis (Paula) Taylor, both of Danville; four sisters, Joyce Strugeon, Janice Phillips, Rita Carrato and Bruce Lee Dunn; and three grandchildren, Blake, Trevor and McKenna Taylor. 

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017, at the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Monday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Memorials: Grapevine Christian Church, 3724 Bohon Rd., Harrodsburg, KY 40330, or Heritage Hospice, P.O. Box 1213, Danville, KY 40423.
