Hogan Galey Moore Sr.

Hogan Galey Moore Sr., 82, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday at his home. He is survived by his loving wife, Pauline.
Hogan was born on Nov. 26, 1934, in Garrard County to the late Raymon and Minnie East Moore. Hogan was a lifelong farmer and was a jailor of Garrard County. He was of the Baptist faith.
Also surviving are two sons, Hogan Moore Jr.(Freda) of Lancaster and Billy Ray Moore(Judy) of Lancaster; two sisters, Edna Chappman of Georgia and Edith Dorlene Case of North Carolina; two granddaughters, Kinsey and Rebecca Moore; and one great-granddaughter, Alexis Grace Moore.
Funeral services wil be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017, at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Browning and Bro. Kaywood Morris officiating. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Stephen Napier, Randy Preston, Larry Flannery, Doug Hale, Daniel Gilbert, Bryan Blanton, and Denny Cheek. Honorary Pallbearers are Ray Hammonds, Tommy Gill, Dick Lafever, Norman Oliver, F.C. Foley, Kenneth Fowler, Kenny Becknel, John Farley and Manford Foley.
