Purdy said he is unsure what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle at this time.

Responders from KSP, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Lincoln County EMS and Lincoln County Fire & Rescue were called to the scene of the accident.

Bobbie Harrison and her daughter were both ejected from the vehicle, Purdy reported.

Purdy said Jamie Harrison was extricated from the vehicle.

According to the release, all three passengers were transported to the University of Kentucky Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

When they arrived at the hospital, Bobbie Harrison was pronounced dead by the Fayette County Coroner.

Purdy said he didn’t know the condition of the other two passengers Monday afternoon, but believes Jamie Harrison is able to talk.

Investigators hope to figure out what caused Jamie Harrison to lose control and by talking with him, Purdy said.

The investigation is being conducted by Trooper Chris Damron.
