Correction

The history story about the Wallace family that was published in the Feb. 4-5 weekend edition should have said that Jorden Wallace, a veteran of the Civil War, was the great-great-grandfather of James Hunn. He enlisted at Camp Nelson in Jessamine County and served with Company B, 116th U.S. Regiment of the U.S. Colored Troops.

Kentucky Pluckers to have benefit concert

HARRODSBURG — The Kentucky Pluckers will be performing a bluegrass concert

from 8 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at the Kentucky Fudge Company to raise funds for their Haiti mission trip with the Hour of Hope in March. The Kentucky Fudge Company is located at 225 S. Main St., Harrodsburg.

Basket workshop to be held

HARRODSBURG — A Mom and Daughter Day beginner’s basket-making class will be held 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at the James Harrod Conference Center at Old Fort Harrod State Park. To register and for more information, including cost, call (859) 734-3314.
