Linda Irish Norton

1949-2017

Linda Irish Norton, 67, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017,  at her residence. She was born on July 22, 1949; daughter of the late Richard J. and Ruby Elkins Irish. She was a retired secretary of High Street Baptist Church, and had worked previously for Centenary Methodist Church in Danville, Ky.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Richard Norton, whom she married on June 26, 1971; two sons; one step-daughter; two brothers; and five sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Amundson officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to High Street Baptist Church Youth Group, 102 Bourne Ave, Somerset, KY 42501. Interment will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery.The family will receive friends after 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017 at Pulaski Funeral Home.
