Shepherds House to have open house

Basket weaving workshop
HARRODSBURG — There will be a basket making class for beginners from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25 at Old Fort Harrod State Park at the James Harrod conference center. Call (859) 734-3314 to register by Feb. 23.

Danville-Boyle County Convention and Visitors Bureau — 8 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23 at Grayson’s Tavern.

The Danville Boyle County Human Rights Commission — 6 p.m., Monday, Feb. 27 at the Boyle County Courthouse, in the Fiscal Court room on the first floor. Please arrive promptly and enter by the Fourth Street entrance. The Human Rights Commission is established to hear all complaints and concerns of community citizens related to violations of their human rights.
Danville-Boyle County Planning and Zoning — 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 1 at Danville City Hall public meeting room. Items on the agenda include: new minor plats for Rheanna Lynch on Lynch Lane, John Tobe in Boyle and Lincoln counties, Walter Goggin Jr. on Bluegrass Pike, Bob and Janet Orms on Ky. 52, Tarter and Tarter property on Irvine Road and Joseph and Regina Sapp on Oscar Bradley Road; final plat revocation for Horizon’s Pointe at U.S. 127 and U.S. 150 bypass; final platt amendment for Davis and Davoc, U.S. 127 and Perryville Road; final plat for Bypass Center Section 3 at Commerce Street and Shannon Way; site plans for Cattleman’s Roadhouse on South bypass and Dane Burris on Roy Arnold Blvd.; and comprehensive plant for 2017 adoption. Chair business will include zoning ordinance amendment for section 4.7 that was tabled Feb. 1; and preliminary plat renewal for Bypass Centre Section 2.
