Police arrested two Casey County women Saturday after being called investigate a report of an unresponsive woman at the Hampton Inn in Danville.
Crystal Adams, 38, of Dunnville, and and Adrian Lawless, 25, of Liberty, face charges for drug possession and public intoxication.
According to Danville Police, dispatch sent officers to the Hampton Inn shortly before 11 a.m. Saturday after housekeeping reported finding an unresponsive woman in a room.
Adams and Lawless were found in the hallway outside the room in question and Adams “was identified as the subject that was unresponsive,” according to a news release from Danville Police.
Adams “denied needing medical attention” and “Both subjects were manifestly under the influence of unknown intoxicants,” according to the release.
A search of the room, which police said the pair consented to, turned up “a small amount of suspected methamphetamine,” marijuana and “prescription pills,” according to the release.
Both women were taken to the Boyle County Detention Center, according to police. Adams remained in the jail on a $10,000 cash bond Sunday night, according to jail records.
Josh Owens is the investigating officer.
