Inter-County Energy sends several to conference

The Midwest Residential Energy conference promotes energy efficient home performance through the education of Building Science principles. The conference objective is to provide continuing education and updates on building codes, tax credits and financial incentives, energy efficiency programs and new technologies that benefit or affect the professions of builders, remodelers, realtors, HVAC contractors, HERS raters, building analysts, utility program managers and utility energy advisors among others.

Pictured left to right are Jackie Campbell, Jimmy Claunch, and Jeff Brown, all with Campbell’s Heating & Air, April Burgess with Inter-County Energy, Kenny Sussman with CJR Heating & Air, Ricky Lane with Inter-County Energy, and James White with CJR Heating & Air.

Inter-County Energy, the local Touchstone Energy Cooperative, sponsors and sends local contractors to the Midwest Residential Energy Conference so they can earn their continuing education credits. While earning their CEUs, contractors learn how their trade promotes energy efficiency to their customers. This year Inter-County sent Campbell’s HVAC Inc. and CJR Heating & Air Conditioning to the Midwest Energy Conference. Both Campbell’s and CJR work closely with Inter-County members doing duct seals, heat pump retrofits, and new installations. CJR also installs insulation on new and existing homes.
