A Mercer County grand jury indicted the following people on March 15:

• Rafael Poynter, 43, 2016 Shakertown Road, Harrodsburg: eight counts first-degree sodomy of a child less than 12 years old; eight counts promoting sexual performance by a minor under age 16; eight counts use of a minor under age 16 in a sexual performance. Bail was set at $250,000. David Prather with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office testified.

• Anastasia Vandergriff, 35, 2016 Shakertown Road, Harrodsburg: eight counts first-degree sodomy of a child less than 12 years old; eight counts promoting sexual performance by a minor under age 16; eight counts use of a minor under age 16 in a sexual performance. Bail was set at $250,000. Prather testified.

• Julian Sampson, 42, 738 Old Dixville Road, Harrodsburg: possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; driving while license was revoked or suspended; driving without insurance. Bail was set at $10,000. Aaron Steele with the Harrodsburg Police Department testified.

• Bleick Vonbleicken, 46, 1909 Claremoor Drive, Louisville: possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; tampering with physical evidence. Bail was set at $5,000. Brian Allen with the Harrodsburg Police Department testified.

• Demarkus Masterson, 28, 314 Walnut St., Harrodsburg: first-degree trafficking in controlled substance, two or more grams of heroin; possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $10,000. Steele testified.

• Ronald Glass, 9006 South Ky. 501, Liberty: first-degree possession of controlled substance, methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $5,000. Steele testified.

• Carl Carter, 31, 38 Virginia Ave, Harrodsburg: first-degree possession of controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $5,000. Derek Patterson with the Harrodsburg Police Department testified.

• Leonard Bates, 53, 1012 Bluegrass Pike, Danville: first-degree trafficking a controlled substance, two or more grams of meth. Bail was set at $20,000. Patterson testified.

• Kaylon Brewer, 23, 430 Bondville Road, Harrodsburg: manufacture meth by possession of equipment and or chemicals for manufacturing meth with intent to manufacture. Bail was set at $20,000. Scott Elder with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office testified.

• Harold Herring, 40, 624 Elm St., Crab Orchard: flagrant nonsupport for his two children. Bail was set at $5,000. Chestina Quinn testified.
